LUMINIBUS allows the integration of traffic sensors (TAI-Traffic Adaptive Installation) and luminance and weather sensors (FAI-Full Adaptive Installation) to allow the adaptation of lighting according to the two possibilities currently allowed by the standard, i.e. based on the traffic variable only and or on the weather and ambient light sensors.

Traffic, luminance and weather sensors to enable lighting to be adapted according to the two possibilities allowed by the standard:
- "TAI" (Traffic Adaptive Installation) mode, in which the street lighting is adapted to the traffic variable only
- "FAI" (Full Adaptive Installation) mode, which adds weather and ambient light detection to the "TAI" mode.
